Recipe: Cheesy Stuffed Mushrooms π
Ingredients π
- 16 large mushrooms
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Step 1 π
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.
Step 2 π
Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel. Remove stems and chop finely. In a medium bowl, combine butter or margarine, garlic, basil, salt and pepper. Add cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and chopped mushroom stems. Use hands to mix until well blended.
Step 3 π
Fill each mushroom cap with about 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture. Place on prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
Step 4 π
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until filling is hot and bubbly and mushrooms are tender. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
