Recipe: Creamy Garlic Mushroom Pasta π
Ingredients π
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 cup white wine or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 8 ounces cooked pasta of your choice (gluten free if necessary)

Step 1 π
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and mushrooms and cook until the mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in the thyme.
Step 2 π
Add the white wine or vegetable broth and simmer until most of the liquid has evaporated, about 3 minutes.
Step 3 π
Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese and bring to a simmer. Simmer until the sauce has reduced slightly, about 5 minutes. Taste and season with salt and black pepper if desired.
Step 4 π
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine. Serve immediately with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
