Recipe: Honey Garlic Shrimp π
Ingredients π
- 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions π
Step 1 π
In a small bowl, whisk together garlic, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, ginger, salt and pepper. Reserve half of the mixture for later.
Step 2 π
Add shrimp to the remaining marinade and stir to coat. Let stand for 15 minutes at room temperature.
Step 3 π
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add in the shrimp with the marinade and cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 5 minutes. Stir in reserved marinade during last few minutes of cooking. Serve hot with desired accompaniments.
