Recipe: Potato Pancakes With Applesauce π
Ingredients π
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and grated
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Applesauce, for serving
Directions π
Step 1 π
In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, flour, eggs, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are combined.
Step 2 π
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Drop spoonfuls of the potato mixture into the hot oil and flatten with a spatula. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
Step 3 π
Drain on paper towels and serve hot with applesauce.
