Recipe: Spätzle 🔗
Ingredients 🔗
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions 🔗
Step 1 🔗
In a medium bowl, mix together flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add eggs, milk and melted butter. Beat until smooth.
Step 2 🔗
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Fill a spätzle maker according to manufacturer’s instructions with the batter and press into the boiling water. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until spätzle are cooked through. Drain in a colander and serve warm.
