Recipe: Spaghetti Carbonara π
Ingredients π
- 250g spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 5 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Step 1 π
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
Step 2 π
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and bacon; cook and stir until bacon is crisp, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Step 3 π
Whisk Parmesan cheese into beaten eggs in a small bowl. Set aside.
Step 4 π
Return the skillet with the garlic and bacon to medium heat; add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss with tongs to coat with the garlic oil mixture. Pour in egg mixture; cook and stir for 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
