Recipe: Vietnamese Pork And Shrimp Crepes π
Ingredients π
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups cold water
- 5 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound ground pork
- 8 ounces peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro leaves
- 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

Step 1 π
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, oil, and salt until smooth. Let stand for 10 minutes. Heat a lightly greased skillet over medium heat. Pour about 3 tablespoons of the batter into the skillet and swirl to cover the bottom. Cook until lightly browned on both sides. Remove from pan and repeat with remaining batter.

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook pork for about 5 minutes or until no longer pink. Add shrimp, cilantro, green onions, fish sauce, sugar and garlic; cook for an additional 5 minutes or until shrimp are cooked through. Place about 3 tablespoons of the pork mixture into each crepe and fold in half to form a pocket. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
